Description
The 2017 vintage was among the best the winery has ever had. Despite record rainfall while the vines were growing, the time until the grapevine ripened was almost ideal, meaning cool and dry. This developed an excellent taste while maintaining the natural acidity.
This makes the 2017 Pinot Noir a wine with an intense aroma, balanced with hearty taste nuances, fresh acid components and firm, but well integrated and elegant tannins.
All vines were handpicked and the wine was stored in French oak barrels for 9 months. Well stored, it will last up to 10 years from delivery (beginning of 2018).
