Description
Based on the cool but dry climate, the 2016 vintage – like its immediate predecessors – is a very finely structured and well balanced Pinot. It is ostensibly characterized by the spice and even more strongly the berry note (cranberry, cherry). The multi-layered structure grants a lot of delicacy and elegance despite the intense aroma. Overall, it is a little lighter than the following years.
The well-integrated tannins make the 2016 Pinot Noir a great and versatile food companion.
All vines were handpicked and the wine was stored in French oak barrels for 9 months. Well stored, it will last until at least 2025.
