Description

The 2018 vintage was characterized by the best climatic conditions, which meant that the wine was slightly ahead of its typical maturity period. The slow and even ripening resulted in an excellent taste concentration. Similar to the 2016 and can even compete with the 2017.

The 2018 Pinot Noir has an intense aroma, a powerful wine, wonderfully balanced with already ripe, round tannins.

All vines were handpicked and the wine was stored in French oak barrels for 9 months. Well stored, it will last up to 10 years from delivery (beginning of 2019).
