Mit dem Ziel aus den besten Reben (Eligo aus dem lateinischen: das Beste auswählen)  einen der elegantesten Barossa Shiraz zu machen, hat John Duval in 2005 begonnen den Elgo zu komponieren und mit dem 2016 Jahrgang voll ins Schwarze getroffen. Die Farbe ein tiefes Purpur, in der Nase Aromen von Blaubeeren, Kompott, der Geschmack von Kirsche und dunklen Früchten eingebunden in einen tolle Struktur. Die Textur ist voll und cremig mit üppigen Tanninen in feiner Balance.

Zum Schluss ein elegantes, tolles Finish! WOW, what a wine.

Description

With the aim of making one of the most elegant Barossa Shiraz from the best vines (Eligo from Latin: choosing the best), John Duval began to compose Elgo in 2005 and hit the bull’s eye with the 2016 vintage. The color a deep purple, in the nose aromas of blueberries, compote, the taste of cherries and dark fruits integrated into a great structure. The texture is full and creamy with lush tannins in fine balance.

Finally, an elegant, great finish! WOW, what a wine .
