Klimatisch gesehen ist Apogee‘s Index bezüglich Reife-Zeit, Temperatur und Feuchtigkeit  ähnlich dem von Ay in der Champagne, was den Stil und die Vollmundigkeit des Schaumweins beeinflusst. Die Zusammenstellung ist 76% Pinot Noir, 12% Chardonnay, 12% Pinot Meunier.

Der leicht Lachs-rosa farbene, ins Rosegold gehende Deluxe Vintage Rose 2016 hat eine moussige Perlage mit einer kleinen Schaumkrone beim Einschenken. Das Aroma erinnert an Kirsch- oder Himbeer-Kompott, salzige Anklänge und Apfelnuancen. Hinzu kommt ein Hauch Kaffee und Vanille von den Eichenfässern. Kraftvoll (obwohl nur 12.5% Alkoholgehalt), jedoch mit überraschender Geschmacksdichte am Gaumen durch den hohen Pinot Noir Gehalt (76%). Der Chardonnay (12%) gibt dem Wein ein frisches Finish.

Description

From a climatic point of view, Apogee’s index of maturation time, temperature and humidity is similar to that of Ay in Champagne, which influences the style and full-bodiedness of the sparkling wine. The composition is 76% Pinot Noir, 12% Chardonnay, 12% Pinot Meunier.

Pale pink salmon in clolor, only a little darker than rose gold, the Deluxe Vintage Rosé 2016 has a mousse-like perlage. The aroma is reminiscent of cherry or raspberry compote, salty notes and apple nuances. There is also a hint of coffee and vanilla from the oak barrels. Powerful (although only 12.5% alcohol content), but with a surprising density of taste on the palate due to the high Pinot Noir content (76%). The Chardonnay (12%) gives the wine a fresh finish.
